After a successful journey teaching, they opened their own dance school in 2024. They are positive, humorous and encourage their students to enjoy movement and connection with others.

Welcome to try bachata in the form of social dancing! Note that this is not a guided workshop, but rather an open space to dance to bachata music. If you’re not already familiar with bachata, we encourage you to join the bachata workshops first! (KIDS FRIENDLY)

BACHATA FOR BEGINNERS (FIN/ENG) – Dance & Body

Bachata is a Caribbean music and dance originally from the Dominican Republic. It is characterized by its romantic or nostalgic feeling, and is danced from medium-slow to very medium-fast tempo. We will dive into the basic steps together, first alone and then with a partner, with whom we’ll practice different routines. We invite you to change partners during the class (not mandatory). BACHATA SENSUAL INTRODUCTION (FIN/ENG) – Dance & Body

Sensual Bachata is an evolution of Bachata as a dance through the influence of different popular dance styles. It is characterized by flowing body movements between the partners, using isolation, contractions and relaxations in a harmonious way. We work with a partner to explore how we can use response and relaxation with the breath to connect with our dance partner. (KIDS FRIENDLY)
