Katariina Souri is a Finnish writer and visual artist living in Sipoo. She lives in the countryside on her small farm with sheep, chickens, guard dogs and cats. Souri calls herself an everyday tradition activist. She feels that the connection to intergenerational knowledge and tradition is primarily formed through the strong bond with nature. In her book Unimyth – The tale of the Finnish witch of the swan-caln, she writes about the matriarchal history of the Baltic-Finnic people.
