Leena and Liisa are sisters of soul and blood, wonderers of life and guides of crying: bearers of the good news of crying, listeners of the language of tears. Leena is a pianist and energy and sound healer by profession. Liisa is an actress-musician, sound healer and songwriter who makes music under the stage name Ihme-Liisa. The sisters draw their work from the pains and joys of life.
 

OPENING TO CRYING AS A PATH TO LIBERATION

Opening to crying as a path to liberation – the workshop offers a space for the flow of emotions and deepening the connection with oneself and one’s own voice, utilizing the methods of the Karelian lament. Through voice, breath, presence and improvisation, we open ourselves to hear our grief and the truth it carries within us. You are welcome to cry – small, big, painful or light cries.
